Genesis 1:1-3, in the King James Version, states: "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light."
Dear Friends,
If you will notice in the scripture above, God created the heaven and the earth, and they were without form, and void. According to Websters' definitions in the 1928 edition of the dictionary, that means they were not occupied with any visible matter or external shape......that is......until God spoke light upon them.
